PowerSchool Enhanced User Interface (EUI)

All PowerSchool Admin user accounts will be switched to the Enhanced User Interface on 4/16/2024. EUI is a new look to PowerSchool. The biggest change is to how a user navigates in the system. Users can wait until Tuesday to switch over to EUI or the helpdesk to switch now. Here are some facts about EUI:

EUI is only for admin users and will not affect teachers, subs, parents or students;
All BPS admin users will be required to switch by 4/15/2024;
BPS is switching admin users to EUI now because in the next PowerSchool upgrade the old interface will no longer be an option for admin.

PowerSchool Scheduled Maintenance

Maintenance to the Bismarck PowerSchool environment will occur on Wednesday, January 17th starting at 11:00 pm. The duration is unknown but expected to last at least one hour. PowerSchool will be unavailable for all users during this time.

PowerSchool Parent/Student Access

PowerSchool parent/student is disabled from July 24th - August 9th for all students and parents.

PowerSchool Scheduled Maintenance

Maintenance to the Bismarck PowerSchool environment will occur on Friday, January 6th starting at 6:00 pm. The duration is unknown but expected to last at least one hour. PowerSchool will be unavailable for all users during this time.

PowerSchool Parent/Student Access Available

PowerSchool parent/student is enabled for parents and students, except for the following schools listed below.

July 24th – August 16th: Bismarck High School (BHS) Freshmen ONLY parent/student PowerSchool access disabled.

PowerSchool End-of-Year Process

The PowerSchool End-of-Year process is scheduled for July 31 - August 3. Staff should not make changes to data in PowerSchool during this time as we will be performing data maintenance and upgrades and those changes may be lost.

July 31st – August 3rd: PowerSchool End-of-Year process (do not make changes to data in PowerSchool during this time)
August 4th: PowerSchool available for 2023-2024 school year (barring any unforeseen delays)

End-of-Year Process Completed

The end-of-year process has been completed and the system has been upgraded. Students and staff are now in the 23-24 school year and changes can be made as needed. All next year reports and screens now are for the 24-25 school year. Staff should no longer use PowerScheduler but make changes on the live side.

PowerSchool Parent/Student Summer Access

PowerSchool parent/student access has been disabled for all students until next school year. Username and password reset emails will not be sent until access has been enabled.

PowerSchool Parent/Student Access Enabled

PowerSchool parent/student has been enabled for all students for the 19-20 school year.

Troubles Signing In?

If you are having problems signing into PowerSchool try signing on to BPS Webmail first and then contact the BPS Helpdesk if you are still unsuccessful.
