PowerSchool Important Note

On Monday, June 1st, Infinite Campus extracted data from PowerSchool to create our Infinite Campus production site. Any data that was in PowerSchool will be included in our Infinite Campus production site. For the remainder of June, any changes in PowerSchool (other than summer school) are possible but not recommended because they will not be included in our Infinite Campus site and be lost. PowerSchool will be available to look up information and run summer school until June 30th.

• June 1: Infinite Campus extracted data from PowerSchool
• Changes made in PowerSchool BEFORE this date will be included in the data for Infinite Campus
• Changes made in PowerSchool AFTER this date will NOT be included in the data for Infinite Campus
• June 30: PowerSchool will be shut down

PowerSchool Scheduled Maintenance

Maintenance to the Bismarck PowerSchool environment will occur on Friday, July 25th starting at 6:00 AM. The duration is scheduled to last at least one hour. PowerSchool will be unavailable for all users during this time.

PowerSchool End-of-Year Process

The PowerSchool End-of-Year process is scheduled for July 28 - 31. Staff should not make changes to data in PowerSchool during this time as we will be performing data maintenance and upgrades and those changes may be lost.

• July 29th – July 31st: PowerSchool End-of-Year process (do not make changes to data in PowerSchool during this time)
• August 1st: PowerSchool available for 2025-2026 school year (barring any unforeseen delays)

End-of-Year Process Completed

The end-of-year process has been completed and the system has been upgraded. Students and staff are now in the 25-26 school year. Staff can begin using PowerSchool and BrightArrow as normal for the 25-26 school year. Next year reports and scheduling setup screens now are for the 26-27 school year. Staff should no longer use PowerScheduler but make changes on the live side.

PowerSchool Parent/Student Summer Access Disabled

PowerSchool parent/student access is disabled for all students and parents from July 21 - August 8. Username and password reset emails will not be sent until access has been enabled.

PowerSchool Parent/Student Access Enabled

PowerSchool parent/student has been enabled for all students for the 19-20 school year.

PowerSchool Parent/Student Access

PowerSchool parent/student is disabled from July 24th - August 9th for all students and parents.

PowerSchool Scheduled Maintenance

Maintenance to the Bismarck PowerSchool environment will occur on Friday, January 6th starting at 6:00 pm. The duration is unknown but expected to last at least one hour. PowerSchool will be unavailable for all users during this time.

PowerSchool Parent/Student Access Available

PowerSchool parent/student is enabled for parents and students, except for the following schools listed below.

• July 24th – August 16th: Bismarck High School (BHS) Freshmen ONLY parent/student PowerSchool access disabled.
